Quince is another brand I’ve been eyeing for the past few years. And I’m finally doing a review of Quince because I’ve read so many conflicting reviews on Quince!

Before hitting check out at Quince, I read several Quince reviews on Reddit, Youtube, and TikTok! The reviews on Quince were kind of all over the place which made me even more curious about the brand.

Quince Review

I’ve literally stared a their cashmere sweaters for a few years now and I’ve been wanting to try it. Especially since they offer a cashmere sweater that looks JUST like the one from Reformation but at less than half the price. I own clothes from comparable retailers such as Banana Republic, J. Crew. I also read several Quince reviews about their $50 cashmere so I wanted to try it out!

The Quince $50 Cashmere Sweater Reviews

There are many reviews on the Quince $50 cashmere sweater and they are ALL so conflicted! While I did not buy the $50 cashmere sweater, I bought the slightly more pricey cashmere cardigan instead. I’m pretty sure this is the exact same fabric as the sweater but with buttons.

I own cashmere sweaters from J. Crew, Banana Republic, and Uniqlo. And I can say the Quince cardigan is similar in fabric to Uniqlo which is $100. I love my Uniqlo cashmere sweater, I’ve had it for about 2 years now and it’s still perfect.

The Quince cashmere cardigan is slightly thinner than the Uniqlo one but not by much. And it feels so similar to the standard J. Crew cashmere sweater I could barely tell the difference!

While I liked the material of the cardigan, I was not a fan of the fit! It was way too long! I ordered it in a size small and had hoped it was similar in length the Reformation Cardigan, but it’s much longer.

I have read several reviews though that say the $50 cashmere sweater fell apart within a few wears, but I’m not sure how they are laundering their cashmere sweaters. I usually just dryel mine!

Quince Mongolian Cashmere Oversized Crewneck Sweater Review

The Quince Mongolian Cashmere Oversized Crewneck Sweater is a real bang for your buck! I would honestly skip their $50 sweater and go for the Oversized Cashmere Crewneck one instead for $100!! Shop it now.

The Oversized Cashmere sweater is so thick!! It looks absolutely comparable to the one from Reformation that’s all over TikTok and sells for nearly $300!

The sweater is already oversized, but size up if you want an even more oversized fit (I went with a size small based on the model size). When I first got this sweater, I thought the sleeves fit a bit funny, but it was from the fold lines. It comes in a V-Neck version too!

After I let it lay for a while it was beautiful! I’ve not read any Quince reviews on this sweater and I’m shocked because it’s such a good value.

Quince Mongolian Cashmere Fisherman Crewneck Sweater Review

Another must-buy from Quince is the Cashmere Fisherman sweater. This is THICK RIBBED sweater that is just so pretty. If you want cozy vibes then this is the sweater to get.

Ribbed cashmere is usually really expensive because it takes more raw material to make ribs! I’ve seen this exact sweater at J. Crew for over $200 and it felt exactly the same as the Quince one. Quince even has the same colors.

For $100 I don’t think you can find another cashmere sweater similar to this!! The Fisherman Crewneck is the same price as my Uniqlo cashmere sweater which is thinner. This sweater also doesn’t seem to be on anyone’s radar because I’ve seen very little reviews on Quince that feature this cashmere sweater! Again, I’m surprised because it’s a great value!

As for sizing, this sweater is not oversized so I sized up to a medium for an oversized look.

Quince Men’s Mongolian Cashmere Shawl Collar Cardigan

I ordered a cashmere cardigan from the Men’s section at Quince for my Husband. Over the years I’ve tried to find a good quality cardigan that are comparable to the two cardigans I bought for him over a decade ago, but they have all been a disappointment.

I’ve ordered from Banana Republic, J. Crew, and a slew of other brands. The cardigans either didn’t fit correctly or the material was not that great even thought they were wool.

The Quince Men’s Cashmere cardigan is comparable to the $600 Rag & Bone Cardigan I bought for him 10 years ago!

The size small fit is just slightly boxy, but the length of the arms and the length of the cardigan are perfect.

Before purchasing this cardigan I watched several Quince reviews on menswear but none of them had this cardigan on it!

If you are looking for a gift for a guy, this cardigan would make a great one! If you are a woman this would make a lovely oversized cardigan for you! I’m about the steal it from my husband!!

Quince Italian Leather Handbags Review

I finally got my hands on one of Quince’s leather handbags. I purchased the Quince Trapeze bag which is so similar to the Polene purse that’s so popular!

The Quince Trapeze bag is perfect, the leather is a lovely texture, the shoulder strap is removable, and I just love everything about this bag! At under $100, it’s a steal for real leather! Shop it here.

Quince Quality Review

Overall I found Quince’s quality to be really good. The cashmere is stunning for the price point they offer. I really want to try their leather goods because they have a Polene dupe I’ve been eyeing, check it out HERE. I would buy from them again!

I have read several Reddit reviews saying you can get the same items for the same price at major retailers like Gap, J. Crew, and Banana Republic. And yes you can, ON SALE! When there’s a Black Friday sale or items are on clearance then yes the pricing is comparable. BUT most likely the size you want or the color you want will be out of stock. I’ve shopped many clearance sales and have scored a BR cashmere sweater that has lasted 20 years for just under $100 but it’s a bright orange color no one wanted.

I’ve had my Quince sweaters for a year now, and they have held up really well. I dry clean them at home and there hasn’t been any pilling at all. I’ll keep updating this post as I wear them through fall 2025!

Quince Shipping

Quince does offer free shipping on all orders in the United States. I received my order in about a week after placing the order which is pretty standard. This is about the same speed of major retailers.

Quince Return Policy

Quince offers a straightforward and customer-friendly return policy. Customers can return most items within 365 days of purchase, provided the items are unworn, unwashed, and in their original condition with tags attached. To initiate a return, customers can visit Quince’s website and follow the instructions for generating a prepaid shipping label.

Refunds are typically processed within 10-14 business days after the returned items are received. Quince also allows exchanges for a different size or color, and defective or damaged items can be returned for a full refund or replacement at no cost to the customer.

I haven’t gotten around to returning that cardigan yet, so I’ll update on how the return policy works in reality!

Quince Sizing Reviews

I found everything I ordered to be true to size for my measurements. I read several Reddit Quince reviews that say Quince sizing is all over the place or runs small. I’ve found that not to be the case. Everything fit the way it should in the size that I ordered and was accurate to their size chart. In terms of the cardigan that was too long, I kind of suspected it would be too long looking at the model but I was hoping that it was shorter!

I also appreciate that they have model information and what size the model is wearing on their website. Retailers like Sezane don’t do this and it really drives me insane!!
