Ski season is just around the corner and there’s nothing like a classic ski sweater to keep you warm on the slopes and stylish for apres skis after!

Each year I take a snowboarding/ski trip and so far I’ve snowboarded at Park City, Salt Lake City, Aspen, Lake Tahoe, and Stowe. Trust me when I say you will want a stylish later under your bulky jacket for drinks and dinner!

I especially love Norwegian-style ski sweaters (I’ve stolen my fair share of them from my husband in the past) and vintage ski sweaters (I bought several for my trip to Park City last year).

Ski sweaters range in price based on the fabric they are made of, usually, the creme of the crop of ski sweaters is made of merino wool, which is light, breathable, and insular.

If the price of the Perfect Moment ski sweater is a bit too steep but you still love the look, I’ve got some budget-friendly finds for you! These are almost exact dupes of the Perfect Moment ski sweater but they are less than a quarter of the price. They have the same design but are not made of merino wool.

A budget option that’s similar to the Perfect Moment Ski sweater is this one. Made of 100% merino wool in a ribbed knit, this sweater comes in so many colors at a quarter of the price of the Perfect Moment sweater. This classic sweater has a nice fitted shape and will go with so many items in your closet!

The Best Norwegian Style Sweater: H&M

Fair Isle knits are another classic for your winter wardrobe and are perfect for snow sports! For 2022 you’ll find affordable options with ski motifs that you’ll love on the mountain and for dinner after.

Best Affordable Wool Ski Sweater: Everlane

As I said before wool sweaters will keep you warmer and breathe better than synthetic sweaters. Though I own a few ski sweaters that are acrylic, I definitely prefer wool. Wool however is pricier than synthetics, but I’ve found a few at great price points!

That being said, this 100% merino wool half zip has such a luxe and cozy vibe that you’ll be able to wear it all winter long!
